I voted for Confessions, King Lear, and Prime of Miss Brodie? One motivation is that I already own these books (sorry, Aquinas and more). What about you? Which books did you vote for and why?
I voted for The End of the Present World, The Angels and Their Missions, and The Fulfillment of All Desire. The first one because I have had several people tell me it is a good book. The second one because I love reading about angels. And the third one because, like the first, I heard it was a good book.
Confessions got my vote. I've read it five times and have the audiobook. His musings on "time as distention" always generated lots of discussion in my college classes. I also like his thoughts on greedy babies. Very amusing.
Lets see... I voted for Song at the Scaffold, Quo Vadis?, and End of the Present World. I had to read Song for school a few years back and thought it was excellent.
End of the Present World, King Lear and Song at the Scaffold.
