Not sure this is the right forum, but I read "God's Mechanics: How Scientists and Engineers Make Sense of Religion" by Br. Guy Consolmagno. It's somewhat autobiographical (Br. Guy is an astronomer at the Vatican Observatory) and talks about the concept of God as a Catholic might explain it to a non-religious scientist.

I'm interested in books on the interplay and history of science and Catholicism, and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions.
